does anyone use Real Player to download a video?
if so can you tell me how to extract them again or forward them in an email

I haven't ever e-mailed a video - it would be a very big attchment and it would surely be easier to e-mail the link. And I don't know what you mean by "extract". But you can convert a downloaded video to lots of different formats - to put on a DVD or potable device, fo instance, with "Any video converter" - just google that phrase for a free download.

you're right, my head isn't focused this morning, what I was hoping to do was copy to a usb flash drive but I think Real Player only gives the option to burn to disc
you don't need to use real player to copy the downloaded content. The files are stored in my videos folder/ realplayer as .flv (flash video) format.

These can be copied to cd dvd or a usb memory stick using windows. They can be replayed using any number of different programmes including realplayer or vlc.
