I remember really liking the b-side to the 12 inch version of Lovely Day, but I can't remember the name of the song, anyone out there able to help me?

thanks for your response Judge Nutmeg, but don't think it was either of those songs
Hi lilacgirl

If it was the original 12" version of the tune....it was
'It Aint Because Of Me Baby'

If it was the '88 remix 12", it's either of these two...Lean On Me being more popular, i would plum for no2

'Lean On Me' & 'Lovely Night For Dancing'

Hope it helps.

maybe I've gone doolally in my old age, but none of these titles are familiar (apart from Lean on Me, which is a well known tune). Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me and it wasn't the b-side. Would there have been an additional track on the A-side (other than Lovely Day and a remix of Lovely Day). It would have been around 1988 - record was given to me by then boyfriend as the words meant something between us!

Thanks guys for help so far
Hi again, lilacgirl xx

On the 1988 sunshine remix 12" single, there were two mixes of Lovely Day, Original and a Ben Liebrand remix, Lean on Me and .......................
'Aint No Sunshine'...................is this the tune you're after?
hopefully!................

thanks again yogi.bear for all your efforts, but no, I remember it not being a well known song - it was just one of those nice easy going songs, with lovely words (rather like all your suggestions) but it was never a single in its own right. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but I will just have to go up in the loft and seek it out. Watch this space............................!
