Early 80s- I seem to remember The Dolls, but my memory is not what it was and I'd need to check this

this youtube video says The Doll but I rememeber them as The Dolls.
Anyway, it was 1979

It seems they were The Doll. Some sites say 1978 not 79. Will this be the one you want?

Good. There were some great tracks around this time- although thos one was nothing special for me.

i'd agree.it wasn't special to me either,it was just annoying me that i couldn't think who sang it.cheers!
