I have always liked The Beaten Generation by The The.

Almost anything by Morsissey and the Smiths.

I suppose it depends on what you want to be different to.

I've always found a Pink song inspirational, it's called 18 Wheeler from her album Misunderstood (perfect for when you feel alone!) A brilliant song about standing up and being strong. See what you think...

I agree with The Smiths/Morrissey post - it depends what you want to different from, what your age is. The Housemartins came up with some corkers - Sheep, Happy Hour, etc . Faster by Manic Street Preachers if you're feeling angry!
