Just picked up the August BBC Music magazine ...

... with a free copy of Walton's Symphony Nr. 1

I don't think I know it.

The accompanying notes describe it as "desolate" ...

... but "tinged with sensuousness".

Should I bin it ?

snags ...

I haven't listened to it.

I mean ... it sounds sh!te from the description.

I'm not sure that I'm really into "desolate" music.

Ok... before you bin it...

Get out on your balcony and reflect the sun off it into the eyes of unsuspecting drivers...
That's naughty snags. But it made me snort (in a sensuous way.)
''(in a sensuous way.)''

Err... how exactly lol...
Question Author
The sensuousness comes from the disc itself ...

... as the accompanying notes say.

Who writes that cr@p ?

Oh ... over my glass of vino I have just turned to page 54 ...

Whiffey ... I think Verklarte Nacht is morose ...

... what, with that and "desolate" for Walton's 1st ...

... it's getting a bit gloomy.
