I am looking for any information on this band. It was formed many years ago (probably about 30) by a friend of mine and they did produce a record. Any sites anyone can suggest to find some details?

The difficulty you have found, and I have found in researching, is that your friend's band are just not well known enough to justify inclusion on the Web. There are thousands of bands who signed deals, recorded one album, then vanished - and your friend's band is just one more. Your other option is a specialist record dealer - check out Record Collector for small ads - they can find just about anything. Good luck.

Is this the same band formed from members of 2nd Royal Tank Regiment? They had the same name. If so, what was your friends name?

My grandfather Ray Robinson was in a band called Peppermint Excursions and also The Chit-Chats I've got some photos of them back in the day, no idea on any records though unfortunately, he was a member of the Queens Royal Irish Hussars between '62 and '67
