Every time I see a program about early rock and roll there seems to be someone going on about it's black origins.

Seems to me that if you extend it like that 90% of rock and pop variants have black origins.

Is there a list somewhere or a musical colour chart?

It is possible for white artists to win awards at the MOBOS. Wihtout googling I'm sure some have. Its a game we can all play.

Look on YouTube for David Rodigan he's a white 58 year old balding duffer from Oxford who looks like a geography teacher. He's also one of the most respected Reggae Selecters in the world.
