Amending music details.

I have just noticed that one of the albumns I have put on computer is showing "various" under artist details instead of the correct orchestras name. I have Windows XP and these albumns are sitting in "my music". The task pane allows me to change the title, but I can see no way of amending the artist details.
There must be a way, guess its just knowing how ????

Try right clicking on each track and going into 'properties' then click on 'advanced' (if not there already) you can amend artist details, date, track no. title etc. there
