Help me find a dance tune

I'm trying to find a tune that my friends & i danced to at university but i don't know the title or the artist! - help!

It contains the lyrics "take me to the skies above" people have suggested the misfits but it doesn't sound right unless there is a different version to the one i've heard

sounds like LMC vs U2 - "take me to the clouds above" (the "vs U2" is because it is heavily based on U2's "With or Without You". It was number one for a while earlier this year

The LMC song is quite recent, but the vocals on it are sampled from "How Will I Know" by Whitney Houston, but the line is "take me to the clouds (not skies) above".  The Misfits song is called "Dig Up Her Bones", kind of thrash punk.  How long ago was it, and what kind of music?
