Extra charges for car hire
1 Answers
There was a programme on BBC news this morning ( Sunday ) about avoiding the extra charges on car hire on holiday. Unfortunately I Missed it.
When we go on holiday to Jersey , we hire a car from the airport & we always have to pay between £60 & £70 extra for collision waver damage etc. . We have been told that you don't have to pay these extras but we don't know if this is in fact true, Can anyone help please ?

He also hired a car in Belfast, and was asked to pay an extra £11.50 to be checked with the DVLA as he had only brought the pink card and not also the green bit of his driving licence . He just said check the agreement before you hire really as you can avoid these charges.
