Heard it on the radio, no clue what it is :(

Hay everyone, I was listening to radio 1 when this song came on the radio, it was just a guitar and a man singing at the beginning, something along thr lines of 'been staring at the clock on the wall'then towards the end it went 'i don't wanna be alone, don't I give you what you need' or something like that, then it changed to 'you don't give me what I need' and something right towards the end'when you go to leave him and he begs you to stay, remember this ' nd uhrmm 'don't stay with him; stay with me. Overall a very alternative easy listening , but negative lyrics.
