Did anyone catch 'Gimme Shelter' last night on BBC4 ?

The Altamont free festival !!! Loads of groups including the Stones. The hells Angels cased some uproar with violence breaking out. It mst have been amazing though!

Time flies. Jimi Hendrix would have had his 67th birthday a couple of weeks ago.

Sachs. I was there in Isle of Wight in 1970. Jimi didn't play his best but the whole experience was awesome. Something I'll never forget ( well......most of it, if you know what I mean.)
Both my sons go to Glastonbury most years and it must be a similar experience.

If you watch it again, look out for the hippy who jumps on stage while the Stones are on and just stands there doing weird things till a Hell's Angel sees him and chucks him off - classic! :)
