The Dead Pets Slot.

Paul O'Grady's just been talking to Fern Britton about his dead pets slot that he features on his own radio programme.... Now, there's something just not right about that. I wish he'd change the title.

As if the words dead and pet aren't enough - it's the slot I concentrate on....
Put the 3 words together & it's soooooo not right.

Nah - the idea of it doesn't distress me, it's quite sweet really. It's just the title.... but then it is Paul O'Grady so me suspects a bit of a tongue in a cheek?!!

I do dot! On a sunday while I'm chopping veg. I like that he plays all sorts of music - from old fashioned musical stuff to, like you said, northern soul. I love him.

I haven't heard him on this particular programme salla, but much prefer the word 'dead' to 'passed'. Why not 'dead' or 'passed away'?
