Please could you make the text "(Optional) Enter YouTube video Url" disappear when one clicks on that box because, since that box is just for the url, it doesn't make sense to leave that text there necessitating deletion by the poster for the video to be properly included in the posting.

What does one need that box for in the first place, I wonder? I usually just paste my links in the post field (this field) and it works out just fine. Is the separate field for embedding? Questions, questions. Okay I'm posting a link using the separate box now, let's see what happens...

PS bibblebub, for me (using Firefox) the instructions disappear when I place my cursor in the fields.

Yep, it's for embedding. But you don't have to use it, this works fine too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d24W46NdH-U

I use FF3.6 nearly all the time and it doesn't disappear for me, it's necessary to delete that text; have just tried it with IE7 and Chrome4 and it's the same with them too.

I've usually done same as you and just put the link into the main text but recently I thought I'd try giving Youtube links in the way intended.
In fact, the embedding option cuts the video off to the right.

I know this is an old thread but now the text in both the url and description boxes clear when those fields are clicked on so everything is hunky-dory.
