Sending Music to my PC from a Mini Disc Player

Hi again, I have finally found the optical cable for the mini disc player the problem is it will not attach to my PC, can anyone please advise what soundcard would be the best to purchase. Many thanks

If you want to use the optical connector, you really want a sound card with optical in (and optical out, if your minidesk player also records). There's lots about, this is a cheap one:
