Hello,

After working in music shops etc.. for the last 9 or so years, I have lost all inspiration for my Ipod playlist. I love pretty much everything (not soo keen on thrash metal, love Hip-Hop), from Foo Fighters to Pink Floyd to Puccini to Metallica to Dee Edwards to Eagles to Dj yoda to Jay-Z . I like it to be fairly upbeat and I would love to find new stuff I havent heard. I am not so much a charty person - TBH I generally hate the top 40 rubbish. Does anyone know of a website that suggests Playlists? Surely there is something out there that suggests music to you. I used to use Pandora, but it no longer works in the UK.

Thanks for your suggestions

I would love to see copy of Andy-Hughes Playlist... I am sure that would be ecclectic.

For good new hip hop try stuff on the Stones Throw label. Some of it is a bit less "accessible" than say Jay-Z though.
Try last.fm. Not playlists as such but search for bands/artists you like and it will suggest similar artists/music/genres...
For hip-hop try "Awol One & Factor" or for a new spring artist try Darwin Deez, Radar Detector is a cool song

I use last fm and spotify but the suggestions are far too mainstream generally and usually never have any relation to what I am choosing to listen too. Thanks guys
