the avalanches

hi guys
just wondered if anyone out there knows anything about the above band, the avalanches - an australian electronica band who started out in the early 00's. I absolutely LOVE them but i can't seem to find much stuff out about them, i've done the usual wiki and facebook stuff but they seem to have disappeared! I know they're due to release a second album, when i dont know. Just wondering if anyone has ever seen them perform live in the uk? They don't seem to tour nowadays!! Any info greatly appreciated :D

There was rumor that a new album was due out this year (used to work for a record shop) but I haven't seen anything. The Avalanches album was discontinued a few years ago - I love it!
