1964 hit for Supremes singer.

The wording of the questions suggests a solo recording by a person who was at some time (before, during or after 1964) a member of the Supremes. Of course, it may also be a cryptic question!

To make it easier (!), all of the words in the title should begin with either M, H, S or G (apart from the occasional 'the' or 'and').
