Who sings the indie pop song with chorus: This is the new you, it's the new you, every word you say, will be for always. I think it's a British performer (male voice).

Could be Franz Ferdinand.
Question Author
Sorry, it's not Franz Ferdinand. This is slow song in Morrissey/The Smiths style.

There's a clip of the song by Derby on here.
It'll be on youtube too.

Well I get lots of hits when I search on those lyrics but they all seem to be you asking the same question on different sites!
Where have you heard this song?
Any idea how recent it is?
Question Author
Yes, that was me asking the same question on several sites.Google search didn't show result for me either. I have heard that song several times on certain online indie radio station (indie-go).I have even managed to download the sample of that song by using winamp's plug-in program.
If I am not bothering you, is it somehow possible to send you that song sample on e-mail. Maybe it would be easier for you to recognise the name of the song and artist, that way.

Question Author
I am not shure if this could help. It's a slow song in Morrissey / The Smiths style. The voice (I think it's a British) is a soft male voice and it sounds very similar to those from New Order and Lightning Seeds.

drgnk are you sure of the lyrics? What I mean is are you sure you haven't mis-heard?
Question Author
I forgot to mention that I have already sent e-mail with a song sample to that particular radio station but there was no response from them so far.

can you put the clip on youtube and then post a link to it on AB.
And please can you listen again and double check the lyric.
It sounds familiar- are you sure it's Indie and not a Christian hymn?!
Question Author
I don't know how to put this sample on you tube, since it is an mp3 file. To be honest I don't how to upload on you tube ( I never did that).
I'll take a risk and put rapidshare link with the file here. I hope that I'am not violating any rule of this site since the file is uncomplete.
Factor 30,I hope this will help. Here's the link:
