itunes problem

Help - I have downloaded a youtube video -as I have with plenty of others. The clip is in my itunes "recently added" section and I can play it via itunes. It is tick boxed but it won't sync to my ipod. My ipod appears to have syncd ok as 3 music tracks went on ok. I just can't see why this video clip won't go to the ipod. I have never had a problem getting youtube videos to ipod before. Can anyone offer some ideas please? Thank you
