I have been searching the net for nearly a year now for a reasoably priced Irish Gaurds jacket like worn by The Libertines... maybe I am just being too demanding but I was hoping sombody could point me in the right direction to get one for, say, under £50... I live in Surrey so London etc not a problem to get to if anybody kew of anywhere on or offline would be much appriciated.

You may have more luck if you search on Guards rather than Gaurds.
I remember the video- I thought it was Up The Bracket or Time for Heroes but i can't find that version. Is it this jacket on the picture at the start of What a Waster?

Have you been to Portabello Road? I went to the market this weekend and saw several old jackets similar to this for sale on several stalls
