And, did you also know, that George Michael's 'Faith' had nothing to do with religion. Strange.
They are cheering on England to a great football victory rather than any particular tournament. 1966 World Cup just happens to be the last great victory England had.
And the Prodigy's "Smack my b1tch up" wasn't about hitting puppies either...

Isn't it a shame. All these people have gone to all the trouble of composing these songs and getting them released, and all you can hear at the games is the flipping vuvuzela! Which completely destroys the atmosphere, IMO! But that's another debate altogether!
Surely the only good football song was Vindaloo !
