Loads! What sort of music do you like...?
Question Author
Lol Markrae pretty much anything but I am not into charty stuff generally. I would like to find something more obscure or just something good would be nice. The last semi decent album I listened to was Kelis new one. I do like pretty much any genre though.
Crowded House ... not to everyone's taste but saw them the other week and the new tracks sounded good ... gig was like one big party ..
If you like modern rock music heavily influenced by the 70s, try this:

I will try anything suggested, since leaving the world of music shops I have not much of an idea what's about right now. Spotify is hardly forthcoming in suggesting anything decent.

Sounds good ... will give it a listen later thanks Markrae - if you have anymore musical suggestions please lay them on me. I wish there was a way I could listen to everything!
Did you work in a music shop greedy? ... I wouldn't be able to stop myself from saying "why are you buying this carp for?"
Question Author
I did indeed for quite a few years and yes people do buy what I would call rubbish. But the best customers are those who just came in and ask what's good. That and the fact I could listen to any and every album I wanted daily - I miss that now, not having the entire catalogue to hand. And not seeing what has come out that isn't chart based rubbish.
Any Jack Black characters in there like in High Fidelity?

Thanks Mark, there are only two in the list I haven't listened to but will defo give them a go.

Captain as for the shop, it was awesome 'back in the day' but then the company got too big and money driven and like all companies began to concentrate to much on the money and not enough on the music. I loved every minute of it I must admit. Hours of fun.
