Dear Sqad - I'm coming over week after next and a little concerned about the weather. I have the temperature in Mahon permanently on my desktop and it hasn't got much above 22 degrees. As all I want to do is lie on the beach and swim I'm worried that you are having a cooler summer so far. Always there in July (Menorca for the rest of you) and it's normally nearer 30.

Is my desktop wrong or has it not been so good? Please answer with your gentlest of bedside manner if it's bad news!

Roz, my love, it has been a strange summer so far and the weather hasn't settled. Warm days, cold days, cloudy, sunshine and some rain.
However, it has certainly settled in the last 24 hours and the forecast for the next 2 weeks is good, so it is my opinion that you should have a sunny, warm holiday.

Many thanks Sqad for taking the time to answer. Not arriving till Mon 5th so hopefully it will have time to warm up a bit but from what you say it hasn't been quite as settled as usual. Even if it's dull I'm sure a couple of Xorigeurs and tonic will cheer me up.xx
