Music used in the BBC2 Series "Auschwitz"

This series shown on a Tues night on BBC2 uses throughout it a 3 note piece of music played on an organ (which may be synthizied).

I'm sure it was a classical "hit" a few years ago.

Can anyone tell me what it's called and who composed it?

(Dawn Upchurch is the soprano.) She has an amazing voice,very haunting and moving.

I have the CD, so you will almost certainly be able to still get hold of it if you wanted to.
