Hi, I've just created a playlist that contains many, many albums that I haven't listened too much, or indeed at all. However, when I view the playlist on the iPod itself, it is simply a huge list of songs. Is there any way of grouping the songs on the iPod playlist by album title? At the moment I have to trawl through 600+ mp3's to find the start of the album I want to listen to (assuming I know the first track!), and just want to see a list of album names, click on the one I want, and off I go! Please help!

Don't view it on the iPod as a playlist, browse by album title or artist instead and the albums will be listed there. Playlists are only really for grouping together songs that you wish to listen to as one list, they can be useful if you don't wish to transfer everything by an artist but they have the drawback you have seen.
what happens if you group them on iTunes by album (ie click on 'album' and it will put them in alphabetical order; do it again and it's reverse alphabetical order), then sync them to your iPod? I haven't tried it but it sounds as if it might work.

Hi Fitzer. I understand what you're saying, just wondered if there was a way of collating these albums into one place. I know I can just go into Albums or Artists but it would be nice to have all the albums on one playlist, sorted by name.

jno, I've tried this but to no avail. However you sort the albums, they just appear, as separate songs, in that order.
