Who is this artist?

We have a painting in the house which was here when we moved in. It shows a lake scene with two trees in the foreground and a little island in the middle of the lake and an old shed like a boatshed also. It is mostly painted in brown/maroon colours and it is onto canvas and I think it is an oil painting but I'm not sure.

The artist's name is on the bottom right of the picture but it is in joint writing and it is difficult to make out. To me it looks like Cafieri or perhaps lafieri. Does anyone know who the artist might be going be the style of the picture perhaps or does the name I am giving lead you to know the artist's proper name?
