I'll confess first. I fell totally head over heels for a guy who was married, with a family. He was crazy for me too. We never "did" anything. I couldn't bear the idea of his children waking up each day without Daddy there, because he'd gone off with me. And he knew that being "in love" with me was no match for "loving" his family. If we had met before he was married, we would definitely have ended up together. The thing is, you can't control whom you fall in love with.
