Ummm...  Moonlight Sonata is a Ludwig Van Beethoven composition...
Eine kleine nacht Musik

There are absolutely loads of pieces. If you want an introduction to some soft and gentle classical music I would recommend a CD called:

"The Most Relaxing Classical Music in the Universe"

Amazon have this for sale on their website. If you just want to find pieces of music that you like go to their page about this CD because you can hear a snippet from all the tracks. Even if you don't want to buy the CD, you may find some tracks that appeal to you, so that you can follow them up (and download them from other websites). The weblink for this CD is:

Mozart Piano Concerto No 21 (Elvira Madigan) is fantastic!
The second movement of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto is sheer gorgeousness. Actually it's all wonderful, but like many concerti, only the second movement is slow.

You mentioned moonlight sonata, so I'm thinking slow, moody, atmosheric pieces for solo piano - Try any of the pieces called Gymnopedies or Gnossiennes by Erik Satie.
