Coincedences

This isn't really a question but I would be interested in any thoughts on it. A year ago today, we had to have our darling Persian cat Rosie put to sleep as she had multiple tumours. Our neighbour gave us a lovely miniature rose in Rosie's memory, which had white blooms-it overwintered and has been flowering this year too. So, how come, in the last day or so, this white flowering plant has produced one perfect deep pink bloom? It's somehow comforting that this has happened, although very strange.
Maybe I am weird in still missing our little cat after a year but it still hurts to think of her. Other things have happened today too! I have a playlist of 170 songs on my I-pod and had it on 'shuffle' to do my exercise. The first song that came up was 'Carry you home' by James Blunt (The very song that was running through my head at the vet's a year ago) followed by 'Don't fear the reaper'
These 'happenings' are probably coincidences but I'd like to think that somehow Rosie is still with us.
Has anyone else had things happen after the death of a much loved pet?
Best wishes, Maz xx

I've had lots of weird experiences associated with her - I'm convinced it's because I think of her so much and this somehow heightens anything to do with her. Must admit the flower was quite a comfort, I know it sounds daft but I looked on it as her way of saying she is still around. Don't be too sad Maz - both our pets had a good life and were much loved.
