changing ring tones

I have just bought myself a new mobile phone and want to change the naff ringtone. I would like to have either: the Wallander ringtone, or the Mad Men theme or the Dexter theme. I don't know how to go about this, and am not sure about the safety of the loads of websites where you can download the ringtones from. I am worried that if I use one of them, I will end up with a load of viruses on my computer and it crashing, all for the sake of a silly ringtone.

I'd be grateful for some advice, please, as to (a) how I can go about this, (b) does anyone know some safe sites to use and (c) how do I actually download a ringtone from a website to my mobile.

I have come across a site called "cellsea" or something like that, but don't know whether or not its a safe and secure site.

Sorry to appear a thicko, not particularly mobile phone savvy. So would be grateful for some help and advice.
