Don't know what happened to her - but she did sing "Life... Oh Life" I really liked it.

Maybe she turned into a couch potato (Desiree - get it? Owwwww....)

Saw Desiree at the Hammermith Apollo back in the early 90's.....she was supporting the excellent Sounds Of Blackness on their UK tour...just starting out then she was.....brilliant gig, great night and i chatted in the bar with Leee John from the band "Imagination" before and during the intermission, for those that remember them from the 1980's.
