banned madonna video

I recently found out that the video for madonna's song 'what it feels like for a girl' was banned when it was released.       

Does anyone remember what the video was about or why it was banned?

much ado about nothing ! just her crashing cars and pulling guns on cops that turned out to be water pistols

Guy Ritchie directed it. She collects her grandmother from 'Ol Kuntz' nursing home and takes her on a mad drive thru the city in her sports car. It's pretty funny in parts. The song was remixed into a dance tune, so it's thumping not like the slow one on the album. Tho it would have been nice to have released a video for that version too.
