Dress for a wedding reception

Hello

I am looking for a nice dress for a wedding reception/party. I am struggling to find one I like or in my size. I would more than likely need a 16 (chest issues) and I would like it to be knee length/just above. It has to be informal enough to wear tights with. I have been looking for weeks.

Have tried DP, Evans, New Look, Phase Eight, Very, Topshop, Monsoon, ASOS and most other highstreet shops.

I was hoping for a dress that had a bird print/swallow print/something fun on it as I would like to also wear this dress for the xmas party

Any ideas? Or have you seen one?

Have you got a Matalan near you? No idea if they've got anything in the designs you mention, but they do ahave some nice stuff at very reasonable prices.

try the QVC website, if you go to the High St for bigger sizes you have very limited choice and chances are someone else will also be dressed in your outfit, I can pick out an Evans outfit a mile off they always add ten years to you, you will have a much bigger selection, more modern styles with QVC and they send promptly and you can send it back if you dont like it on, & you will be able to watch the video of your outfit. Try www.republic.co.uk. I was looking at their dresses last night and they have tons of different styles and are really well priced, with lots of different offers. Some of the brands only go to a size 14 but it's worth a look. Not sure where you live but I know they also have stores in Oxford and Milton Keynes - may have others elsewhere.
