Jemisa. What do you define as 'The Charts'? The official British Hit Singles began as a Top 12, then became 20, 30, 50 and in 1978 became Top 75. Each on my list entered the charts at the relevant time they were released. Sorry if I did not comply with your request.

PS: I had to smile at 'Summertime - Ella Fitzgerald'.

I Meant the top 20. But hey it must have taken you ages on Google to sort that lot out, so you take the Biscuit (Custard Cream)

With some of them Al Martino - Rosemary Clooney (Georges Aunty) etc in their day it wasn't the charts it was called the 'TOP TWENTY' but I bet that was before you were a sparkle in your dads eye.
