You must remember, the world is a big place. Artists with international appeal can take nine months to a year to tour all the areas where their albums are popular. Then they have a break and / or start writing rehearsing and recording new material.

Some artists are far more popular in Europe or America than here, and can tour almost contstantly if they so choose - Amy MacDonald is a case in point. So don't worry, they are not sitting at home counting their money, they are off somewhere else playing and working away.
