Help!!!!

Argh! I was tidying up my pc and deleted an mp3 which I've also used in a video edit. ie- in Adobe Premier, a film I've made uses the same file. Now that file has been permanently deleted, the bit in the film has no music! Putting the mp3 back into the files bin in the film doesn't work. Do I really have to re edit, or would system restore do anything in this instance? Please help! I shouldn't be allowed near computers... :(

Then, the program seemed to find it okay and re-insterted it. It's interesting though to note, that although the pproj (Premier project) is saved on my external hard drive, it actually ISN'T, cos all the bits that make up the film- clips, mp3s etc are taken from files on my normal C drive. So, if my computer dies, my backup on the external hard drive is actually useless! Aaargh! Nothing is ever easy!
