I have needs be to write a poem whereby colours rhyme with musical instruments...or vice versa...I have yellow/cello, maroon/bassoon, green/tambourine and fawn/English horn...I might consider scarlet/clarinet, though the rhyme is a bit stretched so any other ideas, please? Ta Muchly.

Blue Kazoo

ecru gazoo
Piccolo - Indigo
Plum/drum

Plum-Drum
I like Flugelhorn / Fawn
I'd have thought violet would rhyme better with clarinet than scarlet and, depending on which part of the English-speaking world you're from, fawn doesn't necessarily rhyme with horn - it certainly doesn't in the USA...

And, just for us old prog rockers, how about crimson Mellotron...?
Blue Erhu
Brunette clarinet

Many Thanks guys, especially for the rhymes to kazoo, piccolo and drum...how could I be so thick...easy, just look in the mirror...smile...and Great McMouse, brunette scans very well - a bit too far out though for the crimson mellotron, which aint surprising, though a good name for a band of yesteryear!
