Rita Macneil

This is one of my favourite Rita Macneil songs but have not heard much about her for a while.
Does she still go on Tour or has she retired gracefully in her home Country of Canada ?

Although I love this song I am not really keen on Rita singing (usually with the Men of the Deeps).

Tommy Fleming and Matt Minglewood also do good versions - normally I would give you youtube links but I can't get into youtube.

Is she still touring, why YES. Has a few dates in Florida later this month. A new cd released Nov 30th, 2010, and in the studio in Feb for the 2011 cd. Just finished a 26 concert tour right before Christmas. You can follow Rita @ www.ritamacneil.com & on twitter @ TeaRoomRita. There are two video's on Youtube listed. "Working Man" sung by Rita MacNeil of Cape Breton & "Chwarelwr" by John ac Alun of Wales. Both very good renditions.
