If I remember my music at school, it represent all the corpses rising up from their graves and cavorting about while no-one's looking. It's very well known (an arrangement was used as the theme to Jonathan Creek). If you're not familiar with it you may think it's a bit hackneyed for your purposes but it's quite atmospheric and there is some pretty wild stuff in the middle that I once used to accompany a chase scene in one production, though that was a comedy. Still, no-one else has answered you yet...
