Can anyone give me advice on copying vinyl records onto a CD, this is for my uncle who is blind & unable to use vinyls. I have purchased a Prolectrix turntable - is sounded so easy on the box, but you have to download lame_encddl. but unsuccessful. Any help appreciated. Thanks

http://www.dll-files.com/pop.php?dll=lame_enc for the Lame download.

What software are you using? Was any supplied with the turntable?
Lame is used for converting audio files to mp3.
If you just want to produce audio CDs, you don't need Lame.

I am using Audacity which came with the unit. In the instructions it says I nned to use lame........
Audacity, superb ... http://audacity.sourc...install&item=lame-mp3

As Rojash says, lame is an mp3 encoder but if that's what you need, then no worries.
