Marc Bolan?
where do you get these questions, puzzleking?
marc bolan
Marc Bolan died in Barnes / Mortlake - South London...
Mark Bolan hit a tree but that was in '77.
Eddie Cochran
Nah - strike that, he was more 70's than '60;s plus his car hit a tree near Barnes according to Wiki
and not Bristol.
why do people answer PK123
Eddie Cochran, I was staying at my mates in Richmond and drove past the tree Marc Bolan hit.
If it's Eddie Cochran, wiki says he died in Chippenham, Wilts - is that near enough to Bristol...? ;-)
it was at the edge of Richmond Park I think,
Mark pk said thanks to someone earlier, i was quite surprised
He did indeed dotty, thanked everyone for answers, I nearly wrote something but thought better of it.
i did lol
James Dean ?
It was Eddie Cohrane I saw him the week before in Newcastle
Eddie Cochran had appeared at the Bristol Hippodrome. After the accident, he was taken to the Bath Royal Infirmary, where he died the following day. Bath & Bristol are very close. This was in April, 1960. I remember it well.
If only it were Garth Brooks and the world had been spared all that pain.
Oh yeah, that well known Bristolian- James Dean.

Pmsl!
'twas and Oak tree, he was driving a Mini. Marc and his girlfriend both went through the windscreen, very sad.
CAS, tut
anyway, apart from the wrong continent, James dean died before even i was born lol
