where should I study guitar ????

I've been doing some research about where to study guitar, as a career, and i've come up with several instittutes, like Musicians Institute (MI) and Berklee. I'v read a lot about MI been a crappy school and that it's not worth it. And I know that Berklee has a really good reputation, but I've heard is more Jazz-oriented, and im looking forward to learn something more like Rock or metal.
Which one should I choose???
Are there other good music institutes in USA??
