No need for apologies, Wharton. It was a serious post in that it would seem that no tally of deaths is sufficient to prompt the US general public to have a serious debate about proper gun control.
I have seen at least one of Moores documentaries - maybe the one about Columbine. At least one striking fact, to me at least, was the comment that there are more guns per head in Canada than there are in the US - and yet Canada's death toll through guns - murders, accidents, what have you - is just a fraction of those in the US.
I just think stories like this one are very sad.
