They don't seem to have sussed out how to get enough bottles to put it in, the don't have enough people to administer it, they don't have enough venues to carry out the programme and they don't have a robust system of delivery to those centres. They have been offered help with most of those problems but have either flatly refused to consider those offers or are still thinking about it. I think the matter of a "passport" is somewhat a side issue.
and who is going to pay for it, administer said document, the government is struggling already in getting these vaccines rolled out that should be a no 1 priority. I know some have suggested already that we should have one so we can travel about, but would the bus driver have the time to check everyone's vaccine card. or on the tube, railways?
I have still got mine too, it was kept along with my passport and everyone else's, by the Chief Steward on the ship and Port Health did expect to see them. They were cheap as chips to supply and administer but very foregeable. Anything less forgeable would be harder to administer and more expensive...also no one knows how long the vaccine will work for or whether it will be needed if you have had covid and recovered.
