I was gobsmacked to read that the Taliban have representatives there for Afghanistan. Keir Starmer says he won't be speaking with them though. I wonder who will?

Sir 2TK has apparently committed the UK to even more cuts so while the USA, China, India and many others (even Macron) look forward to a rise in living standards from oil the GRanny Harmer plunges the UK into economic disaster. The man is bonkers.
Apparetly the Taliban have said oil is Gods give to man. So guessing their economy will be driving ahead too.
8.48 and 8.50. We could all set an example if we wanted to, BUT, we know it will hurt our wallets to much.
The pollution from China and India will only continue to get worse because we and other countries support their polluting industry.
The wholesale and retail trade within the UK import ship loads of all kinds of products every day, and the high profit margins on these products make it impossible to refuse.
I would say about 50% of it is junk, this junk is on show and for sale throughout the UK, and we find it hard to refuse.
Its not just the cheapy shops peddling this rubbish, big high street names also make high profits from dealing with China and India, M&S is one of many.
So complaining about the polution these two countries make is in its self complaining about our own values and actions.
If you really want to make a difference stop buying the junk, or at least be a little bit more picky. If you refuse to buy the goods then the goods will stop arriving. Will the latter happen? I doubt it very much. But lets not complain about Keir for trying eh.
