Good Morning Early Birds.
Well that was a blustery evening lastnight! Went out bout 5 pm to post a last min parcel & rain was just starting, but by time I got home within the hour it was hammering it down and blowing a gale. Was still going strong when I went to bed. Looks like it's calmed down now tho.
How can it be Friday already? This time last week I was getting last min bits ready to drive to Devon! Now if I had my way today I'd spend it curled up on the sofa with the duvet and endless cups of tea, but sadly that isn't gona happen lol. Way way too much to do, including chasing a parcel from M & S who I ordered something from 8 days ago & are blaming everyone but themselves. Still blaming couriers but when I go right into tracking it seems that it didn't even leave the M & S warehouse till yesterday morning!
So what are you lot up to on this damp Friday? X

Unfortunately the storm has caused the cancellation of all the live music acts at the harbour. Hoping it will not ruin all the light displays they have put up.
Good morning all. The wind and rain have stopped now, though more is forecast tomorrow. The dog and the lady who walks him came back looking like drowned rats yesterday afternoon, and the smell of wet dog lingered for a couple of hours. (I envied you your lack of smell Smow. )
Sainsbury delivery later, not much else happening other than OH and I going to docs for jabs.
Have a great weekend everyone
Good morning all. Daft as it may seem I am trying to find a packet of xmas cards to buy(preferably Charity ones). Have tried the big supermarkets , B&M, Home Bargains, they all do individual ones but no packs. Went to the local card shop yesterday afternoon and it was shut( half day closing?).
I refuse to make a special trip into town just to buy xmas cards. I suppose now I am running out of time with the way the post is round here.
Sorry for sounding so grumpy but everything is a bit of a problem at the moment and the weather isn't helping!!!
Hope you all have a good day.
