If you ban them, you're just subscribing to the ever-expanding Nanny State. Leave them alone, the people who take part are adult enough to know the risks.
No they should not be banned, the skill a courage of those guys is just breathtaking. They all do it knowing they could die. They are consenting adults.
I ride an R1 and when you're out on the road knowing if you make a mistake you are dead you feel most alive, to coin a phrase from "The world is not enough" :--
"what's the point in living if you cannot feel alive"
Yes and while were at it ban everyone from opening their front door better yet ban everyone from getting out of bed just in case they trip over their furry carpet slippers.
seriously no they shouldn't
Mototbike racing should be confined to the track where there are no protruding walls or telegraph poles. When was the last TT races on the Isle of Man when not a single biker was killed?
They are a tradition which many many people still enjoy. If they were to be banned, it would be a travesty of this 'free' world we're supposed to live in. So I expect them to be banned anytime soon.
No they should not be banned but the sanity of the participants should be questioned. Speeds nowadays have gone past the stage of being only terrifying.
The TT races were dropped from being a World Championship on safety grounds many years ago but you can't kill a tradition.
To be truly mercenary about the situation, the Isle of Man needs the tourist industry.
Silly question considering your username ?
