I don't know which way the vote would go,as people tend to say things heatedly, but when they sit and consider the options, the vote could swing either way. Also as there has been no real national debate about it,it is difficult to guage where the vote would go. European Union would stop any attempt to bring back the death penalty. In the event that a "no" would occur, the government must make sure that people like Huntley (and those paedo's who tired to ape Huntley's act),Whiting and Neillson etc should remain in prison for life. They go into prison on their two legs, and only come out in a wooden box to an unmarked grave. Death sentences or not,the system is too soft on hard offenders.
