I know Mum was elderly but thankfully she has been so well until the last week. Last time I went to see her and we went out for a meal and then a walk along the prom and had an icecream watching windmills, wind-surfers, children playing and people walking their dogs. Did this every day we stayed up there. Managed to stay up there for five days and so went out quite a bit as the weather was fine. Then out of the blue a phone call from hosp saying she was almost in a coma and very ill. So silly of me to be so upset but. . . .
Please excuse me for rabbiting on. Sometimes it is easing to put this down in writing. Sorry peeps. Thanks for your indulgence. xx

I don't think anybody minds at all lady-janine. I've rather enjoyed reading of the good time you had with your Mum. It's a wonderful memory to keep forever.
I can imagine what a deep shock it was to receive that phone call, but you can at least be thankful that it was quick and not a vile, long drawn out illness.
